This week's IEWBC's spotlight goes to ....
Roxanne Jackson, CEO of Jackson's Kare.
Roxanne is a certified Legal Administrative Professional who provides form completion for college enrollment, court documents, and human resources.
Roxanne recently had her Grand Opening February 28, 2020 and has been in business since November 2015.
She has a heart for under served communities, particularly veterans, homeless and displaced, and current and previously incarcerate persons.
Roxanne says, "I want to help my community by reducing homelessness, by assisting homeless veterans and ex-inmates to find a place that they can call home; I want to help inmates and ex-inmates stay crime-free. I want to help reduce the high school and college dropout rate for students by enrolling or re-enrolling the students back in school/college. I want to help individuals to become self-sufficient and to be able to provide for themselves. And most importantly I want to help them to the path of success as someone has helped me to the road to success."
Roxanne is a past participant of IEWBC' s It's Your Time Program. She says, "It was one of the greatest experiences that I endured. I learned a great deal from the Women’s Business Center."
Roxanne wants clients to know that she is dedicated, reliable, passionate, pays great attention to detail and she and her staff operate on a level of unparalleled excellence.
Roxanne believes, “Helping one person may not change the world, but it will change the world for that person".
