Community Action changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities and makes America a better place to live. Jackson's Kare also care about the entire community, and are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other. The Community Action Parterships has the same objectives as Jackson's Kare. We both care about our communtty, we both care about helping others, we both care about our Veterans and we both want to assist nmates into readjusting to society and changing their lives for the better.

Everytime a individual was unable to pay rent, unable to pay the deposit on a new place, or unable to pay first month rent, unable to pay the electric or the gas bill or unable to buy food, I referred them to the Community Action Partnership for individuals to get assistance for the following:

1) Housing Assistance -

*Eviction Prevention Assistance

*New Rental Assistance

2) Home Energy Assistance -

*Emergency Utility Bill Assistance

*Non-Emergency Utility Assistance

3) Food Bank - "Every person has access to nutritious food and is free from hunger."

Community Action Partnership was so amazed on how I cared about people; and Community Action Partnership was so infactuated on how I wanted to help people they went out of there way and wrote two phenomenal articles about me.

Roxanne Jackson was "on the wings of FSET, she referred averaging 50 people per month to Community Action Partnership for various services.

The San Bernardino Sun Newspaper spoke to the Community Action Partnership regarding my dedicatioin in finding ways to help indivudals with daily life needs. The Community Action Partnership asked me and two other ladies to attend a Rally in Washington D.C. to be a part of the "No Room For Poverty" Rally. We was excited and very happy for the oppotunity to attend this rally. Our dedication paid off because none of us has never been to Washington D. C., nor have we ever been nominated by a big organization to do great things for the community. The Community Action Partnership paid for our airplane flight to Washinton. They paid for our beautiful and luxurious hotel suites for a few days, they fed us lunch, breakfast, and dinner each day, and we was invited to a gala event and was nominated. It was one of the best events we hae ever attended.
