And You have the given me a place of influence and authority in my job. I thank You, Lord, for the unique combination of gifts and talents. You have given me that enable me to serve well as a leader. Make me an asset to my company and my industry. Make me a woman of wisdom and excellence for all to see.

Lord, I go from the bedroom to the boardroom and everywhere in between. The business world can be cruel and the workload makes me weary.

Help me to maintain the gentle side of me and to be tender as I have to be tough. Help me, through every meeting, every negotiation, every tough call, to be not just a lady,

but to be the Lord’s lady on the job.
